Today (28 February 2025), Mr. Sa-nguan Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission (EC), gave an interview about the prosecution of the case of collusion in the selection of senators (Senators). He said that the EC has given importance by considering the petitions for the selection of senators since the election of the senators. It has separated the specific groups that are vote buying and collusion in the selection of senators, namely, proposing to hire, demand, collusion, setting up, a set of voting numbers, voting blocks, abnormally high scores, and a score of 0 because it is considered a petition with special characteristics, is complicated, and is carried out in a process. There are 220 petitions in this group and they have been accepted as a case for investigation and inquiry. The following actions have been taken:
