Thailand is entering the era of a full-fledged "aging society" with a rapidly increasing population of people aged 60 and over. Data from the National Statistical Office in 2024 revealed that there were approximately 14 million elderly people, accounting for 20 percent of the total population, and it is expected that in 2033 this will increase to 28 percent.
